Consultancy & testing services

Conidia Bioscience Ltd can offer consultancy and testing services to clients in concert with the UKAS accredited laboratories of CAB International. Such services include bespoke consultancies and sample testing using the full IP 385 procedures.
The services are offered in all areas of microbial contamination and are not restricted to the aviation or marine industries.
A test chamber is available, which can test resistance to mould growth on any material or product (within a size of up to 64 x 47 x 55cm), from electronic equipment and components to paints, plastics, adhesives, lubricants and fuels.

Adhesives for ceramics - resistance to mould growth - documented in-house method based on BS 5980:1980 (1991) – withdrawn
Adhesives for hanging wall coverings - resistance to mould growth - BS 3046:1981 (1991) Appendix G with incubation in sealed bags and growth rating in accordance with BS 2011:Part 2.1J:1989
Electronic equipment and components- resistance to mould growth - BS 2011 Part 2.1J: 1989; IEC 68-210: 1988 Cell 1
Paints - resistance to mould growth - BS 3900 Part G6: 1989 (1994)
Fuels and lubricants - Assessment of microbial contamination - documented in-house method based on institute of petroleum method IP 385/99 Procedure A
